Author Bio: Wilmar Taal is a Dutch cultural historian and author of The Silent Listener: The Life and Works of J.H.W. Eldermans. He specializes in sagas, myths, and the occult sciences.

We will look to people associated with gnomes, but also to folklore and mythology and the leftovers, the writings that could not fit any category, but deal with gnomes nevertheless.
