Good - Rare Lyon edition that we cannot find in the secondary market. On the title page with the printer's mark of Jean II and Francois Fellon (see Baudrier V, 155). - The BNF Paris copy is dated 1572 on the title and 1573 on the last page, ours is dated 1573 on both the title and the last page. With woodcut printer's mark on title, two folded woodcut maps and 5 wholes. Woodcut panels. First 2 sheets. including title reinforced with scotch tape in the right margin. Title page with collector's stamp. pp. 1-4 missing, ms. added in the 19th century. Some with old marginalia. Headers renewed, old heads installed. Somewhat browned and occasionally stained due to the paper. Overall, a well-preserved copy with the illustrations. Restored contemporary pigskin with rich scroll and plate stamps with figural centerpieces, monogrammed "IMD" and dated 1579 (heavily rubbed and somewhat soiled)..
